What you will learn
When we designed the Diploma in UAE Climate Law, our aim was to create a practical, strategic learning experience for professionals navigating the UAE’s evolving climate governance landscape. Every module is carefully structured to build your understanding of the legal foundations, regulatory requirements, and compliance strategies set out in Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on the Reduction of Climate Change Effects.
You’ll begin with a grounding in the scope and structure of the law, then progress into sector-specific obligations, emissions reporting, adaptation planning, internal governance, enforcement mechanisms, and the strategic benefits of early compliance. Each lesson connects legal interpretation with real-world application, through case studies, scenario planning, and regulatory simulations, regardless of your background in law, policy, or sustainability.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid command of the UAE climate law and the skills to confidently implement it across your organization or advisory work. You'll be equipped not just to meet legal requirements, but to turn compliance into a competitive advantage, strengthening governance, preparing for inspections, and positioning your business as a climate leader in the Emirates.
